Sam-Hjälp is a swedish aid organisation and the main focus and goal is to provide humanitarian aid on Christian values to Eastern Europe. The needs look a little different in the different countries where Sam-Hjälp is involved, which also means that the aid is adapted accordingly.
Sam-Hjälp’s basic rule is primarily to cooperate with a Christian organization or a local congregation in each country. Over the years, this concept has proven effective where Sam-Hjälp can assist with material and financial resources and the local organization is given tools to help alleviate distress and provide diaconal support.
During one year, Sam-Hjälp sends about 30 trucks full load of useful material to very vulnerable families, the elderly, the disabled and others. The material consists of donated gifts such as clothes, shoes, bedding, furniture, handicape material and much more.
Sam-Hjälp supports a large number of projects with monthly financial support. Other initiatives such as renovations, camp activities and social projects receive temporary support.
